These disclosures apply to thelatchlink.com and our booking and intake pages hosted on subdomains such as get.thelatchlink.com (collectively, the “Site”), operated by The Latch Link Inc. together with Nourished Roots Lactation LLC (collectively, “The Latch Link,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). The Latch Link Inc. operates the “The Latch Link” brand and Services, and Nourished Roots Lactation LLC provides billing and related services. We are committed to transparency in how we operate and interact with our users. Service Disclosures
Role of IBCLCs. Lactation support through The Latch Link is provided by International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) and related staff with training and experience in breastfeeding support. Our lactation consultants provide lactation and breastfeeding support; they do not provide general medical advice, diagnose medical conditions, or prescribe treatments. If you have a medical concern about yourself or your baby, please consult your physician or other qualified healthcare provider. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek immediate medical attention.
Insurance Coverage. We work to connect you with lactation care that, for many clients, is covered by insurance. Coverage is subject to verification with your insurance plan and may vary by plan, eligibility, and medical necessity. While we verify benefits and bill your plan on your behalf, we cannot guarantee that any particular service will be covered or covered in full. It is your responsibility to understand your plan’s terms, and you may be responsible for amounts your plan determines are not covered.
Virtual Services. Our Services are primarily virtual unless otherwise specified. Virtual care may not be appropriate for every situation, and we may recommend in person care or evaluation by another provider when appropriate.
Content and Resource Disclosures
Educational Content. Information provided on our Site, including blog posts, guides, and other resources, is for general educational and informational purposes only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for individualized care from a qualified professional. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of purchasing any product or service. You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP. After you send STOP, we will send a confirmation message, and you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up again as you did initially. If you experience any issues with the messaging program, reply HELP or contact us at admin@thelatchlink.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
